Privacy Policy

Last updated: · Version: 2026-11-05-draft

This Policy explains how Kleio Technology ("Kleio", "we"), based in Florida, USA, collects, uses and protects personal information in Occupello.

1. What we collect

Account information: name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), language, timezone and preferences.

Workspace data you or your team enter: properties, units, leases, tenants, applicants, contractors, payments, maintenance requests, messages and documents.

Usage and security data: sign-in events, device and browser type, and hashed (not raw) IP addresses and emails used to stop abuse and lock out repeated failed sign-ins.

Billing data: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.

2. How we use it

To provide the service, secure accounts, prevent fraud (including enforcing one free trial per person), process payments, send service and billing emails, provide support and improve Occupello. We do not sell personal information.

3. Customer Data and tenants

For workspace data about tenants, applicants and contractors, the owner or manager who uses Occupello decides how it is used, and we process it on their behalf. Tenants with questions should contact their property owner or manager first.

4. Sub-processors

Supabase / Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, authentication and file storage.

Stripe — subscriptions and payments.

Resend — transactional email delivery.

Cloudflare — network security and bot protection (Turnstile).

Google — optional "Continue with Google" sign-in.

Each receives only what it needs to perform its service.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your language and theme, and protect forms against bots. We do not use advertising cookies.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited by role-based rules on the server, sensitive documents open only through short-lived links, and you can turn on two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users of a breach as required by law.

7. Retention, export and closure

We keep data while your account is active. You can download your data from account settings. If you ask to close your account, sign-in is blocked and your data is kept until the request is reviewed, then handled as agreed with you or as required by law.

8. Your choices and rights

You can view and update your profile, change email language, export your data and request closure. Depending on where you live you may have further rights to access, correct or delete personal information; contact us to exercise them.

9. Children

Occupello is not for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. International use

Occupello is operated from the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our sub-processors operate.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy and will post the new version with its date. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app.
